Enzoween
I narrowly missed having a November 1 baby- Enzo was born at 10:41 on Halloween. When you ask him what he's going to be for Halloween, he proudly states "TWO!". He's going to be a dog in addition to being two today. Annabelle will be a princess, and Hannah a pirate.
Halloween always leaves me remembering '02, when I was a fresh graduate working in Labor and Delivery. We lost a mama that day, to a very freaky and rare complication. Her daughter and my son share a birthday, and every Halloween I wonder how their family has healed. That day pretty much changed my outlook forever, and I hope the family has found peace.
