The nurses I work with know that I've had homebirths, and they know that I'm pretty crunchy.
I work at a relatively crunchy hospital as well, and I'd say there's a 25-25-50 split with the nurses- some are incredibly pro-natural childbirth, some want it old school, and most are fine with whatever.
I've definitely rolled my eyes at some birth plans- the ones that say things like "no IV no matter what" and "do not bathe the baby at all". But for the most part, the nurses I work with look at the birth plans and try to do what they can.
